We are pleased to announce that the HBSAB Financial Services SIG will hold a meeting on Thursday, September 27th, 6:00 – 8:30 pm., downtown Boston at Brown Brothers Harriman.  Light refreshments will be available beginning at 6:00 p.m. and we will have a guest speaker at 7:15 p.m.  Arrive at 6:00 and get to meet others in the group.  

 

The speaker will be Barry Mills, currently a portfolio manager with The Boston Company. Barry will share his views on the Facebook offering, pricing and subsequent performance from a professional Portfolio Manager's point of view.

 

At our first meeting in June the participants discussed the offering from an outsider viewpoint. Barry will provide a counterpoint to that. 

 

This will be a regular series of meetings which we plan to hold on the fourth Thursday of each month from September through June. The purpose of the HBSAB Financial SIG is to provide HBSAB members who work in the financial services industry an opportunity to meet and network with others from the industry.  This group will only be as successful as you make it.  Please attend this meeting and join the effort.

 

 

Membership in HBS Association of Boston is required.
