Moderating the panel will be Raj Sharma, Managing Director, Investments, and Head of The Sharma Group at Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group and recognized nationally as one of the top financial advisors in the US.

The panel will focus on opportunities and risks in the current economic and political environment.  A wide spectrum of asset classes from US equities to emerging markets, from agricultural commodities to emerging market debt.  You will find thought provoking insight on concerns facing investors today:

  • How do you position your portfolio to take advantage of the emerging market consumer?
  • Is China overdone?
  • Are US equities poised for a strong surge in 2011?
  • What is the direction of interest rates and inflation?  
  • What are some of the macro risks investors need to anticipate?

David Bianco is head of US Equity Strategy at BOFA Merrill Lynch. In this role, he is responsible for developing overall asset allocation strategy for individual and institutional clients. Mr. Bianco is a highly ranked Institutional Investor analyst and has a strong following among high net worth investors in the US. Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Equity Strategist at UBS and has also held important research positions at Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse.

 

Chuck Clough founded Clough Capital Partners in 2001 and manages nearly $4 billion in assets utilizing theme based global asset and hedging strategies. Prior to founding his own firm, Chuck served as the head of global investment strategy for Merrill Lynch for over thirteen years. He was named to the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team for 12 consecutive years.
Raj Sharma is a Managing Director - Investments in Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group in Boston. He heads The Sharma Group, a private banking advisory team comprised of nine professionals. He has been recognized by Barron’s Magazine as one of the country top 100 advisors for seven consecutive years and as the number one advisor in Massachusetts for two consecutive years.  Raj’s team advises high net worth individuals and families as well as endowments and foundations. Areas of expertise include asset management, estate, legacy and trust planning as well as liability management.
