Virtual Learning Series with Professor Michael Wheeler

Negotiation Ethics

Whenever we negotiate, our values are put to the test.  Our words and deeds reflect what we think we owe our counterparts – if anything—in regard to candor, fairness, and the possible use of pressure tactics.  Professor Michael Wheeler, co-author of What’s Fair? Ethics for Negotiators (with Carrie Menkel-Meadow), will discuss the challenge of preserving one’s own integrity in world where we often have conflicting obligations and others may not be as scrupulous.
