Career Track Event
HBS Aldrich 111(map/directions)
Date/Time: Monday February 22 at 6pm 6:00 - 6:30 pm Networking / Light Refreshments 6:30 - 8:00 pm Program Location: HBS Aldrich 111 While networking may be the ideal way to find a job, there are alternatives. For example, member firms of the Association of Executive Search Consultants conduct over 50,000 searches annually. So, what's the scoop on this segment of the job-hunting market? - How can you take advantage of executive search firms?
- What types of search firms are there, and what are the differences?
- What do they look for in candidates?
- Who are their clients?
- How do you connect with them?
- What's hot, and what's not?
We are pleased to bring together a panel of three distinguished HBSAB Board members to address these issues, Joe Onstott is a principal in The Onstott Group and has 22 years' experience in retained executive searches. Tuck Rickards leads Russell Reynolds' Technology Sector and specializes in connecting CEOs and senior executives in technology, new media, and business services organizations. Tuck works closely with private equity/venture capital firms as well as large, global companies. Bruce Walton is a Partner with Amrop Battalia Winston and has been an executive recruiter in Boston for 25 years. He primarily recruits CEOs and their direct reports to mid-cap industrial, technology and family-owned businesses. Bruce has worked at two of the largest recruiting firms, a boutique start-up and now a mid-sized firm. Please join us to learn about this important segment of the "job-connection" market.
